“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
This quote speaks to me on a seriously inspirational note. From personal goals to work-life goals, I always remember that getting outside your comfort zone is a good thing.
A thing that has been a recent focus in my life is beginning and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have taken on a grain-free, sugar-free diet and a five-day a week workout schedule. My workouts have been mainly encompassing CrossFit. Which if you have ever done, is a killer workout.
By going to these killer workouts, even when feeling unmotivated, I tend to find myself reaching new lengths. I feel myself beginning to handle the Crossfit workouts, being able to lift more, and beginning to love the feeling of soreness.
Workouts aside, my new diet pushes me outside my comfort zone. When I am not feeling good, all I crave is comfort food–not food that properly fuels your body. Through pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I find that I can survive without my unhealthy, comfort food.
Anything is possible when you put your mind to things outside your comfort zone.
